Safe Practices for Automated Spray Tanning

At Sunless, Inc. creating quality products that are also safely used is our #1 objective. As such, we’d like to encourage each of our business partners to communicate and train their staff and tanners on the safety practices related to automated spray tan equipment.

Education and safety begin by following the FDA Advisory, which recommends the following:

  • Use protective eyewear
  • Wear nose filters
  • Use ear plugs
  • Seal lips with lip balm
  • Wear protective undergarment

Communicating and following these five steps will ensure that tanners have a safe automated spray tan experience.

To assist in the training effort, Sunless, Inc. educators will gladly review this information during staff training sessions, at the salon’s request.
